The former are calibrated, whereas the latter are determined using vector summation in Eq. 2 and Eq. 4 (MidE-US and HH-MidE, forearm and upper arm longitudinal axes, respectively) or estimated via anthropometrical modelling in Eq. 5 and Eq. 6 (rAC-HH). The anatomical coordinate system (ACS) definition for thorax, upper arm and forearm definition is also shown.
