TFEB does not increase the cellular ROS level. The levels of intracellular ROS in H4 cells (Control cells) and H4 cells stably expressing TFEB (TFEB cells) were analyzed by measuring the fluorescence of DCF-DA. (a) Dot plot indicates the fluorescence intensities in the cells. As a positive control, 300 µM of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) was treated to H4 cells for 1 h.
