Representative cases of post-3-hour PET and Morris water maze test. On post-3-hour PET (A,B), the forebrain region (F) is marked with blue line, while the hindbrain region (H) is marked with red line. Left side presents the post-3-hour PET (A) and MWM data (C) of a good neurological outcome case. The post-3-hour PET revealed a forebrain-to-hindbrain ratio of 1.74. The maze time and distance recorded by a computerized tracking system were 13.1 minutes and 398.2 cm, respectively. Right side presents the post-3-hour PET (B) and MWM data (D) of a poor neurological outcome case. The post-3-hour PET revealed a forebrain-to-hindbrain ratio of 0.85. The recorded maze time and distance were 114.7 minutes and 2888.9 cm, respectively.
