The whole blood samples of the Singapore-Chinese cohort were analyzed by FACS. The cell counts of the population defined by gating (Supplementary Fig. 9) are expressed as percentage of total PBMC. The average percentage of the cells as well as sample numbers for each genotype combination are indicated; statistical analysis was performed using Mann-Whitney unpaired t-test.
