From: Functional connectivity of music-induced analgesia in fibromyalgia
Experimental rs-fMRI Paradigm. Experimental conditions were pink noise and music. Image acquisitions were performed before and after each experimental condition, in which participants were instructed to stay alert with eyes opened and fixated on a white cross displayed on the center of a black background presented on a screen. Pain Intensity and Pain Unpleasantness was reported by fibromyalgia patients only, before and after each experimental condition. The washout condition was executed during the “Structural Scan” period.
