Prior enteric helminth infection has differential impact on inflammatory mediators. (a–d) Lung tissues were collected from naĂ¯ve, H. polygyrus-infected, PA14-infected, and helminth-coinfected mice. Total RNA was isolated from the lung tissues. KC, MIP2, IL-6 and TNF-α expression was determined using RT-qPCR. Values are the relative expression compared to the naĂ¯ve mice.
