Expression of NLRP3, caspase 1, IL-1β, and IL-18 proteins in the rat jejunum was detected in paraffin sections with immunohistochemistry. Data are mean image densities (integrated optical density/area) ± SEM. The data is the result of processing the area of the three intestinal villi and calculating their average fluorescence density. Average fluorescence density calculated using Imagepro Plus software. Different letters represent significant differences, that is the data between a and b, a and c, b and c shown in the figure indicate significant difference (P < 0.05). ‘Mangostin’ in the figure refers to α-mangostin.
