Testicular mRNA expression of IDO. Testicular mRNA expression of IDO was determined by qRT-PCR in testes from normal, control, and orchitis (EAO) rats. Results were normalized to 18S rRNA housekeeping gene and expressed as fold change relative to testes of normal rats, to which a value of 1 was assigned. Values are mean ± SEM of relative expression units (RE) of 5 animals in each group. *P < 0.05.
