Mapping and coverage results for whole mtDNA sequencing of three samples from volunteer A. (A–C) Sequencing results for mtDNA amplified either directly from 200 nl plasma (A), or from 25 ng (B) or 2 µg (C) total DNA extracted from whole blood. The sequencing coverage for each sample is indicated in red. The maximum coverage for plasma, 25 ng total DNA, and 2 µg total DNA was 15228 reads, 5012 reads, and 6710 reads, respectively. All results were calculated using CLC Genomics Workbench (Qiagen).
