Induction of Hif1α pathway in astrocytes submitted to intrauterine and chemical hypoxia. Astrocytes from both groups (Wistar: A,C; SHR: B,D) were exposed to 800 µM and 2 mM of CoCl2 for 24 hrs. Expression of Hif1α (A,C,E) and Vegf (B,D,F) is in relation to βActin. Data in graphs is the mean ± SD and the results were normalized as percentage of control group (N = 3, in duplicates). Statistical analysis was performed using One-Way ANOVA with post-hoc Duncan and Student’s t Test. It was considered significant, p < 0.05; *p < 0.01, ***p < 0.0001 and **** < 0.00001, in relation to Wistar group; @@@p < 0.0001 and @@@@p < 0.00001, in relation to Wistar 800 µM group; ##p < 0.001, ###p < 0.0001 and ####p < 0.0001, in relation to SHR group.
