Histological and immunohistochemical analysis. Hematoxylin and eosin staining (H&E), anti-CD3, anti-F4/80, anti-S100 and anti-β-tubulin reactions performed on the coaptation site of Sprague-Dawley sciatic nerves implanted with NeuraWrap, OxPVA wraps and LFPm wraps. Analysis were occurred at 12 weeks from surgery (Scale bars: (A–C), 400 µm; (D–I), 50 µm; (J–O), 200 µm; scale bar in upper right insert (m–o) = 40 µm).
