Experimental design in vivo. The osteogenic nanofibres were fabricated on the surface of screw-type titanium implants by modification of electrospinning apparatus. All rabbits (n = 6) received 4 implants – 2 coated and 2 uncoated implants in left and right tibia respectively. The temporal assessment of regenerated osseous tissue in response to respective implants was performed at the end of 2^nd, 4^th, 6^th, 8^th and 12^th week.
