A cluster consisting of atoms from terahertz irradiated crystals that are involved in the catalytic process of the protein (Ser-195, His-57, Ser-214, Trp-215) and a high proportion of atoms originating from asparagine and tryptophan residues. The trypsin structure is illustrated by a ribbon diagram. Those amino acid residues to which the clustered atoms belong are represented by sticks.
