From: Model-based Comparisons of the Abundance Dynamics of Bacterial Communities in Two Lakes
Networks of strongest interactions among the 14 sub-communities by month. The interaction network for each month was computed from the best sub-community model and weighted by the monthly average abundance of the sub-communities. The means and standard deviations of all values were computed, and only those interactions were retained that are at least two standard deviations away from the mean. This cut-off corresponds to 5% of all interactions. Each vertex size is proportional to the size of the sub-community.
