HadDMtb is involved in the late steps of keto-MA biosynthesis. MALDI-TOF MS spectra of the MAME mixtures from the different Mtb strains. Ion peaks are labeled with the matching MA type and the total carbon number (of the free acid form). They correspond to monosodium adducts. The spectra are representative of three independent experiments. k, keto-MA; m, methoxy-MA.
