Flowchart of the experimental procedures. The experimental protocol consisted of six threshold determination sessions conducted over two study days with a three week break in between. Between sessions, participants were administered to once a 30 min period of nGVS, a 30 min period of sham nGVS stimulation and a 30 min period without any stimulation. During these periods, participants were allowed to freely move in the lab.
