The percentage of wound contraction of untreated (IW) and treated groups (M, M-CCH, M-SeNPs, M-SeNPs-CCH) on days 7, 14 and 21. The calculation was performed by ImageJ software. The treating was started on the third day, but it is not included in the figure. *(P ≤ 0.05) shows significant differences between the treated and control groups and #(P ≤ 0.05) between the treated groups by Mann-Whitney test. The data were presented as mean ± SD. The results were obtained based on the triple independent tests (P ≤ 0.05). IW: infectious wound, M: mupirocin, SeNPs: selenium nanoparticles, CCH: Chitosan-N-Cetyl-N,N,N-trimethylammonium bromide-based hydrogel.
