The Trichrome-Masson staining of tissue sections of wound groups on days 3, 7, 14 and 21 (magnification ×40). The cell count results obtained using these images are presented in Table 1. The results were obtained based on the independent triple tests. IW: infectious wound, M: mupirocin, SeNPs: selenium nanoparticles, CCH: chitosan-N-cetyl-N,N,N-trimethylammonium bromide-based hydrogel.
