A hypothetical model of how nano-EGCG causes AMPK activation and related signaling events while exhibiting anticancer effects. Nano-EGCG may activate AMPK expression through Akt inactivation and LKB-1 activation to suppress lung cancer cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. Red color indicates gene activation or upregulation and blue color means gene inactivation or downregulation after nano-EGCG treatment.
