Effect of media composition on the cell density of P. pastoris culture in 96-DWP. Cultures in different volumes (300 µl to 1000 µl) per well of 96-square DWP (U-bottom) were grown in minimal media with (BMG-CA) and without casamino acids (BMG), in 3 mm throw diameter shaker at 1000 rpm. Aliquots were withdrawn after 72 h of cultivation and OD were measured at 600 nm. OD600 of the cultures are plotted on the y-axis. Different colour bars represent different culture volume per well. Each data point represents the average of 2 independent experiments.
