Histological grading of specimens. Representative, 1 mm diameter tissue core images of normal, squamous papilloma and squamous cell carcinoma. Tissue arrays were constructed containing tumour and tumour adjacent samples. The H&E section of this tissue array was used for classification of the disease by two expert veterinary pathologists. Pathological features are noted next to the tissue cores.
