  1. Number of samples (n) is recorded for each tumour and differentiation type. Mitotic index, defined as the total number of mitotic figures counted in ten x400 fields at 2.37mm2, was calculated by expert veterinary pathologists from H&E stained tissue array images. Mitotic index was positively correlated to malignancy (*p < 0.05).
