A single animal was vaccinated with 1.2 mg of LNP-formulated Zika virus DNA vaccine. Sera were collected and evaluated in a Zika virus PRNT. (A) Legend. (B) Mean PRNT80 titers were plotted with standard deviations. For comparison, published work showing the PRNT80 titers from a Tc bovine vaccinated with the same DNA vaccine unformulated and at a dose of 12 mg per vaccination is shown15. PRNT80 = reciprocal of the highest dilution resulting in an 80% reduction in plaques relative to no antibody control. The limit of quantitation in this assay was 40 (grey shaded area). Blue and black dashed lines indicate day of boosts for LUNAR® formulated DNA and unformulated DNA, respectively.
