BAG3_Pro209 mutants accumulate at aggresomes. Co-localization was assessed between BAG3-GFP and aggresome-markers in HEK293T cells stably expressing HSPB8-V5 and transiently transfected for 24 h with BAG3-GFP constructs. As markers for aggresomes we used: (a) FLAG-HDAC6, and (b) endogenous vimentin. Scale bar = 10 µm. (c) Live-cell time-lapse imaging of GFP-tagged BAG3_Pro209Leu in HEK293T cells. Scale bar = 25 µm.
