The potential action of kefir peptides on anti-atherosclerosis progression through protection against endothelium dysfunction, inhibition of monocyte adhesion/migration, inflammatory response, ox-LDL generation, and oxidative stress, followed by attenuation of aortic lipid deposition, macrophage accumulation in plaques and heart fibrosis.
