  1. The sample sizes, participation and crude means and standard deviations (SD) for age, body mass index (BMI), serum total cholesterol and systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and the percentage of current smoking. The age range of included participants was 25–64 years.
  2. BMI = body mass index, BP = blood pressure.
