Blue violin plots depict kernel densities of Bayesian probability distributions of projected change (1975–1999 to 2065–2089) in q′ = 25-year return levels in the Ohio watershed for each month. White dots represent the median of the Bayesian posteriors, and thick and thin black whiskers are lower and upper fences seen in a standard boxplot. Red hollow dots represent the median of the original ensemble projected changes. Red filled dots represent the upper and lower bounds of the original ensemble. Fences of the violin plot represent the kernel density functions of Bayesian probability distributions for each month.
