Targets were a function of maximum joint stiffness (kmax), maximum voluntary plantar flexion torque (Tmax), and maximum reachable plantar flexion angle (θmax), for tasks of stiffness, torque, or position, respectively. Neither target matching accuracy nor precision were shown to vary significantly between domains. Error bars denote standard error of the mean which, while proportional to standard deviation, do not directly represent precision in this figure.
