Example output of an open-source simulator and example images of the dataset. An open-source simulator called MaxwellFDFD is used to generate the designs of device images in the dataset. The transmittance is calculated at the y = 2000 plane, and the source is simulated at the y = -500 plane (a). The example images of the dataset include simple random data Types 1 (b) and (d), and complicated random data Types 2 (c) and (e). The black parts of the images represent the object material of simulation, and the white parts represents vacancy.
