HCT-15 cells were transfected with scramble or miR-3135b and exposed to 5-FU therapy; subsequently cell viability was assessed at 0, 12, 24 and 36 h. (B) Apoptosis was measured by flow cytometric analysis by double staining with annexin V-FITC and propidium iodide (PI). The plots represent apoptotic (annexin-V positive and PI-negative) and necrotic (PI-positive) events.
