Acetylation status of mitochondrial electron transport chain proteins in response to a HFD. (A) Acetylated lysine immunoprecipitation from whole cardiac tissue showed an increase in the acetylation of NDUFB8 (Complex I) in WT HFD animals relative to GCN5L1 cKO mice under the same conditions. (B, C) There were no changes observed in the acetylation status of SDHB (Complex II) and UQCR2 (Complex III).
