Metabolomic profiling of the cohort of liver cirrhosis patients. The vertical axis indicated the 1H nuclear magnetic resonance chemical shifts (between 0.505 and 9.495 ppm). The horizontal axis indicated Welsh’s t-statistics in the comparison of patients with or without the occurrence of HCC during follow-ups. Cyan and yellow dots represent positive or negative associations with HCC. Those with significant association (P ≤ 0.01) were particularly highlighted as red dots.
