Survival rate of mice bearing Hepa1-6 tumors after splenectomy. Twelve tumor-bearing mice received a splenectomy. Their survival was significantly prolonged compared to that of mice without splenectomy (16.4 ± 8.36 versus 9.25 ± 6.02 days, p = 0.020).
