Group V showed significantly higher frequencies than Group N at weeks 27 (P = 0.0087 by Mann–Whitney U test) and 34 (P = 0.0130). (b) Comparison of Vif-specific CD8+ T-cell frequencies between Groups N and V at weeks 26, 27, and 34 post-infection. Group V showed significantly higher frequencies than Group N at weeks 27 (P = 0.0022) and 34 (P = 0.0238). (c) Comparison of Nef-specific CD8+ T-cell frequencies between Groups N and V at weeks 26, 27, and 34 post-infection. No significant difference was observed.
