  1. The protein secretions of 54 mediators analysed by multiplex ELISA were correlated with real-time metabolic rate readouts of OCR of matched patient biopsies. (A) OCR was significantly correlated with the rate of ECAR and the secreted levels of 3 of 54 proteins including VEGF-A, IL-1RA and TSLP in matched OAC treatment-naïve biopsies. Secretions from explant tissue and metabolic rate were normalised to protein content.
