Proliferation and migration rate of rat ADSCs depending on culture media. Eight kinds of culture media were tested for proliferation and migration rates. Proliferation rates were measured using an MTT assay on the second (baseline) and fourth day after implantation of 1 × 104 cells/cm2 in a 24-well plate. Proliferation rate was significantly higher at 4 days compared with baseline in DMEM + bFGF + EGF (p = 0.0043, A,B). Migration rates were measured using the scratch-assay method (C,D). After confluence of the transplanted cells, the plates were scratched using a pipette tip and scratch gaps between 0 and 24 h were compared.
