Secretion of cytokines and growth factors from rat ADSCs depending on culture media. Confluent P5 rat ADSCs cultured in eight kinds of culture media were transferred into serum-free media and cultured for 24 h, and then the culture media and ADSCs were harvested for gene and protein analysis. Total RNA was extracted for real-time PCR. mRNA levels for TGFβ, VEGF, NGF, EGF, IL-6, IGF-1, and HGF were compared among the eight groups (A–G). The amounts of EGF, HGF, and TGFβ were measured using ELISA (H–J).
