The pro-apoptotic function of FOXO1 is restored by blocking PLK1-dependent phosphorylation of FOXO1 in DU145 cells. DU145 cells were transfected with the indicated plasmids and harvested 72 h post-transfection. The cell lysates were subjected to western blot analysis with indicated antibodies.
