Application to other cell types. GPCR-PLCβ outputs simulations using Hela proteome dataset (blue line) and compared to a hypothetical large platelet (pltx17, orange line). Reactions and kinetic parameters are unchanged from the original core model; reaction volumes, initial PL numbers and their binding proteins were adapted as described in “Methods” and Supplementary Table S7 online. Simulations are run for 5,000 s with activation occurring at 1,000 s (arrows).
