The upper border (below lower renal artery) and lower border (at aortic bifurcation) of Zone 1 were plotted into a histogram with grouping data in blocks of 0.5 cm and above a calculated normal distribution curve. Light grey rectangle defines the 95% confidence interval for placement in Zone 3. No 99.7% confidence interval could be defined for placement in Zone 3.
