Cu retention in YST cells expressing ATP7B mutants. YST cells were transfected (12 h) with WT or mutant (A595T, S1362A, S1426I, G1061E, and G1101R) ATP7B and treated for 24 h with medium containing 100 µM of CuCl2. Cellular Cu content was measured by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) to evaluate Cu-export. The values were normalized to the YST cell count.
