The solid horizontal line in each box represents the median. The area above and below the line represents the 50th to the 75th and the 25th to the 50th percentiles, respectively. The whiskers extend to the highest and lowest values contained within 1.5 times the interquartile range of the data. Each calculated error variance is represented as a dot.
