Fabricated NbN-scNW devices. (a) Schematic of our NbN-scNW device based on the CNT template. The nanowire and the electrodes are simultaneously sputtered and seamlessly connected to each other. The undercut structure completely surrounds the circumference of the electrodes, including the bonding pads, leading to electrical disconnection of the electrodes except through the nanowire. scNW is exposed to the MW radiation as shown schematically.
