Distribution of dN/dS values for functional groups across all diatoms. The same pairwise and PAML model 0 dN/dS methods as described in the legend of Fig. 2 were used to calculate dN/dS values. The difference is functional groups consist of a set of genes. Table S2 shows how the genes were grouped into the 11 categories.
