The density of corneal subbasal nerve plexus. The representative images of corneal subbasal nerve plexus (SNP) stained with βш-tubulin antibody in the control, BAK, 1 w, and 2 m groups. The density (length per area, mm/mm2) of corneal SNP decreased significantly after BAK treatment compared to the control, and at 2 months it was at near-control level. *Significant difference between paired groups by Dunn’s multiple comparison test as a post-hoc test of non-parametric ANOVA test (P < 0.05).
