Flow chart of enrolled patients. The 66 patients enrolled were classified into the AKI group and non-AKI group while those in the AKI group were further stratified into three stages based on the modified KDIGO definition. The three stages correlate with increasing severity. Receipts of dialysis are considered to have stage III AKI regardless of their serum creatinine levels. TH therapeutic hypothermia, HIE hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, AKI acute kidney injury.
