3D US flow images of the subcutaneous tumor. The blue and orange colored structures were the blood vessels inside the subcutaneous tumor. The green shadows were the noises created by the scanning stage movement. The vessels structures pointed by the red arrow were only displayed after the injection of the microdroplets. Since the microdroplets are able to reveal more details of the vascular structures and the angiogenesis process highly relates to the diagnosis and treatment of tumor, these dual-modality contrast agents can be applied in the related studies.
