Correspondence analysis of the major arthropod groups collected from all fogged trees (coloured symbols) clearly separate the high elevation forest (blue polygon) from the lower forest (red polygon). The first two axes explain 76.8% of the variation. The extremely abundant Formicidae on axis 1 are strongly associated with the lower elevational forest while the two forest types are separated on both axes. The inlay figure shows the percentage of the total inertia explained by each of the first six axes.
