Mean number of Nosema ceranae (N.c.) spores per individual (± SE) for Melipona colimana bees at 14 days post-treatment with an inoculum of 50,000 spores/bee or additionally exposed to a sublethal concentration of thiamethoxam in sucrose syrup (4.2 × 10–3 ng/µl; N.c. + Thiam). Significant differences between the two treatments based on a two-sample Wilcoxon test are shown with different literals above bars.
