RT-qPCR analysis of the genes which tend to be up-regulated more than threefold in conjunctival epithelium of SJS/TEN with SOC in our previous comprehensive gene expression analysis, and can be down-regulated less than one-half with transfection of hsa-miR-455-3p inhibitor. Quantification data were normalized to the expression of the house keeping gene, GAPDH. The Y axis shows the increase in specific mRNA over the control samples. Data are the mean ± SEM (each group n = 4). *p < 0.05, **p < 0.005.
